Wesley is a shareholder with Mockbee Ellis, P.A. where he works primarily in the areas of construction and professional malpractice.  Wesley joined the firm in 2012 after beginning his legal career with Baker Donelson.

Wesley is an active member of the Mississippi Bar (2016 Leadership Forum participant, 2017-2019 Director of the Young Lawyers Division, and Homeless Youth Committee), Jackson Young Lawyers (2015-2016 Treasurer and Community Outreach Grants Committee), CABA (Wills for Heroes), the Federal Bar, and is a former pupil of the Charles Clark Inn of Court and former member of the Phoenix Club of Jackson.  During his legal career, Wesley has worked with Mission First, MVLP, Mississippi Center for Justice, the Innocence Project, and Catholic Charities Migrant Support Center.

Wesley and his wife Chelsea live in Jackson with their 3 sons and 1 daughter.  Their oldest daughter lives with Jesus.  The Mockbees are members of Fondren Church (2018-2022 Deacon).
