David B. Ellis is the Vice-President and Managing Principal of Mockbee Ellis, P.A. Since graduating from law school in 2008, David has spent his entire career at the firm, representing clients on a wide array of legal issues, including contract negotiation and formation, risk management, and then during legal disputes, whether through arbitration or litigation. While David’s practice has focused on construction, David has represented clients in many other areas, including real estate disputes, contract and employment disputes, and malpractice defense for professionals (including lawyers, engineers, architects, real estate agents and brokers, and others). David has practiced in most state and federal courts in Mississippi, along with the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States Supreme Court. David is also a certified mediator in Mississippi and is an arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association, Construction Division. David, his wife and two children reside in Madison. David currently serves on the Board of Directors for Southern Christian Services for Children and Youth, Inc. and serves as a volunteer host for the Catch A Dream Foundation.
